Morse & More
This 80 page A5 perfect bound booklet with laminated cover is a very personal poetic tribute to the Inspector Morse novels by Patricia Buchanann. Each book is considered with a page devoted to a synopsis and publication details, followed by a poem - sometimes funny, often sad. In addition there are further sections on some of the other characters, and even a poem to Colin Dexter himself. To complete the publication the booklet is illustrated throughout by Janet Owen who is famous for her ‘Jasper’ caricatures
This specially commissioned watercolour by artist Douglas E. West is now a superb limited edition print of 248 (the number on Morse’s Jaguar numberplate). Each print is signed by Colin Dexter and the artist thus making it a rare and collectable item.
